Loss Prevention Bulletin - 13 November 2017

A bulk carrier is reported to have come under attack at approximately 0900 hrs, Nov 11 to the south of Bonny Island by six armed pirates in a speedboat, at approximately 0900 hrs, Nov 11. Although it is understood that a number of crew were abducted and taken off the bulk carrier, Nigerian security forces are believed to have caught and detained the pirates and released the hostages.
