Saudi-led coalition-backed government forces said that they killed 70 Houthi rebels during an offensive in the Kilo 10 area on the main road between Sana'a and the strategic port city Hodeidah. Saudi-led coalition aircraft carried out air strikes on the group’s forces, killing tens of rebels. Houthi officials did not immediately comment on the claim. The operation comes after government forces cut off Hodeidah from the capital in September.
